At the same time, the overall piston size has also been shortened.

It is noteworthy that the crankshaft main bearings for engines of this family have a frame structure, protected by covers. This greatly increases the degree of rigidity. Cylinders use strong liners, as pistons can easily damage the soft walls of the BC. Sleeves differ in high characteristics of wear resistance.

However, the most significant development was the offset of the crankshaft axis. For the first time, a Korean manufacturer implemented such technology on Gamma series engines.
